About Us

As the founder of Elestay, I come from the hospitality industry with over 30 years hosting Guests in various capacities. I fell in love with Ellijay and the North GA Mountains and purchased a home here in 2015. I decided that I wanted to continue my hospitality career via sharing this lovely place with others. All our cabins have been meticulously remodeled in recent years to our exacting standards offering a wonderful feeling of seclusion and privacy along scenic Mountaintown Creek, a stocked Trophy Trout stream. Sitting just off the river's edge, Guests feel like they are floating in the river. With a huge level grass area with Horseshoes, enjoy good old-fashioned fun! With spaces to escape throughout the cabins, each Guest will feel like they are on their own holiday. Enjoy geese, deer, Blue Heron. Drink your morning coffee in seclusion utilizing the Keurig coffee makers provided in each bedroom. Enjoy a reviving soak in our luxury 6-person Bullfrog hot tub. Warm up next to a roaring fire in one of our firepits complete with 8 Adirondack chairs for your comfort. Cool off with a swim or a tube in the river. Enjoy!
